CONSECRATIO Eagle standing left on globe, wings spread and head turned to right. BMC 1359 note. Cohen 57. RIC 1510. A rare variety. Boldly struck on a thick and heavy flan and with a wonderful portrait. Minor smoothing, otherwise, extremely fine.
